Note: As of March 1, 2019 this page links to the latest Gulf of Mexico nowcast/forecast
system.
Changes include a higher vertical resultion in the upper 100m and the inclusion of tidal
forcing.
ISOP is used as the vertical projection of the surface observations.
One daily analysis at 12Z is performed. Receipt time is used for the observations
which means that all observations received since the previous analysis
are used in the daily analysis.
